专利摘要:
The device is conventionally associated to a cigarette packaging machine and comprises a hopper for successively distributing individual layers of adjacently disposed cigarettes into transferring means which successively transfer each layer into compartments intermittently moved in front of said transferring means. A plurality of layers are superimposed in each compartment to form a bundle to be fed to the wrapping means of the packaging machine. During the transferring, the layers are compelled to pass through a passage delimited by side guiding members and by an upper and a lower light-transparent guiding plate, said passage having a width substantially equal to the width of a layer and a height substantially equal to the diameter of a cigarette. The upper plate has a slot in the direction of the transverse dimension of the passage and this slot is subjected to the light rays generated by a light source transversely disposed relative to said passage and above said slot. The lower plate rests on a mounting having a number of built-in seats each aligned with a cigarette of a layer and each housing a photosensitive element. Should a defective layer be lacking of a cigarette a light ray energizes the photosensitive element provided in the position corresponding to said lacking cigarette so as to operate, through conventional cyclic and memory means, the ejection of that bundle containing said defective layer.

(54) DEVICE FOR SUBMISSION AND INSPECTION
LAYERS CIGARETTE TO PACKAGING MACHINE
one
The invention relates to equipment for the production of cigarettes and to a device for feeding and testing cigarette layers to a packaging machine, can be used in tobacco industry.
A device for feeding and checking cigarette layers to a packaging machine is known, comprising a sectional bin, supporting devices located under the bin, a sectional pusher, an endless conveyor with carriers for groups of cigarettes and photo cells 1.
However, the known device does not provide a sufficiently accurate check of the completeness of cigarettes stacked on top of one another to form packs intended to be supplied to a wrapping device of packaging meenin.
In addition, the known device also does not ensure the accuracy of the longitudinal dimensions of the cigarettes that form the layers.
The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy of the control.
This is achieved by the fact that in the proposed device for feeding and checking cigarette layers each supporting device consists of two horizontal plates one above the other of transparent material with a gap corresponding to the diameter of the cigarette, the photocell light source is located outside the channel formed by the plates across the axis of the cigarette and photosensitive cells on the opposite side of the channel in an amount corresponding to the number of cigarettes, and the device has no Movable screens for absorbing light rays, conjugated with photosensitive electrons.
The light source is a horizontal tubular
20 a lamp located in a box having slots in the bottom wall parallel to the lamp, normal to the direction of movement of cigarettes and corresponding to the length of the lamp.
25 In addition, the photosensitive elements are made in the form of semiconductors, and each fixed screen contains a plate with vertical holes, along the axis of which photosensitive elements are mounted, and adjoins the lower permeable plate from the outside. In addition, the internal surfaces of the holes have a black light permeable coating. Fig. 1 schematically shows a device for feeding and checking cigarette layers to a packaging machine, IB axonometry; in fig. 2 - the same, front view, section; in fig. 3 - Raz A-A of FIG. 2; in fig. 4 - block circuit of the electrical circuit of the device. The device contains a sectional hopper 1 for feeding layers 2 of cigarettes 3, supporting devices, a sectional pusher 4, an unbroken conveyor 5 with carriers b for groups of cigarettes, photo cells with light sources and a block diagram of an electric circuit. The front and back parts of the bunker are connected by vertical parallel walls 7. and 8, one spaced apart from the other at a distance slightly greater than the length of the cigarette. The lower part of the bunker is divided into three sections (not shown in the drawings). The pusher 4 is located behind the hopper 1 and is mounted on the shaft 9 in the normal walls of the bunker 7 and 8 with the possibility of reciprocating axial movement. The pusher 4 has a stem 10 installed transversely to wa 9 and three shelves 11, 12, 13 rigidly connected to the rod 10 (Fig. 1). Shelves 11, 12, 13 are located, respectively, at the level lying between each of the discharge openings of the bunker sections and the corresponding means for receiving cigarettes. Conveyor 5 is formed by a horizontal enveloping tape envelope (not shown in the drawings), the axes of which are located normal to the walls 7 and 8 of the bunker 1. In ki are mounted on shafts 14 with the possibility of rotation. The endless belt of the conveyor is supported by guide plates 15 located normal to the shaft 14. Parallel to the conveyor 5 there is a horizontal support bar 16 placed under the bunker 1. Each fixture consists of two plates 17 and 18, 20 and 21 and above, and 22 of the saisopoM translucent material corresponding to the diameter of the cigarette, while the plates 17, 19 and 21 have a lower bevel 23 on the side facing the bunker 1. The device also contains fixed screens 24, 25 and 26 for absorbing light rays The NCER contains a plate with vertical holes 27, the number of which is equal to the number of cigarettes in the corresponding layer. The inside surfaces of the openings 27 have a black opaque coating. The light source of the photocell is located outside the channel formed by the plates 28 and 29 across the axis of the signaling and is a horizontal tubular lamp 30 dispersed in the box 31 and supported by the bracket 32 fixed on the rear wall 33 of the box. The box 31 has a slot 35 in the bottom wall 34 parallel to the lamp 30, normal to the direction of movement of the cigarettes and corresponding to the length of the lamp. In the plate 28 there is a slot 36, which is parallel to the slot 35. The photosensitive elements 37 are made in the form of semiconductors and are located on the opposite side of the channel formed by the plates 28 and 29. On the lower surfaces of the fixed screens 24, 25 and 26 adjacent to the conveyor 5, containers 38, 39 and 40 are fixed, having parallel shapes and closing the bottom with lids 41. The upper walls 42 of the containers have through holes 43, the number of which is equal to the number of holes 27. Holes 43 are placed along the vertical axis psty 27 and form sockets for photosensitive elements 37, the number of which corresponds to the number of cigarettes. The photosensitive elements 37 are connected to an electric cable 44 extending from the respective container 38, 39, 40 through the sleeve 45. Formed between the pairs of plates 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22, the gaps are limited from the side by concave surfaces of the plates 46 and corner elements 47 located on the plate 29. The block diagram of the electrical circuit of the device includes a signal amplifier 48, shown by the photosensitive elements 37, an actuation pin 49, which cries during each working cycle of the packaging machine by a cam 50 connected with the drive of the pusher 4, the logic element 51 And with two outputs connected to the output of the amplifier 48 signals and a branch circuit containing contact 49, the storage element 52 and the output element 53, while the latter are connected in cascade with the output of the element 51 I. The device works as follows. During normal operation of the device, the pusher 4 is retracted to the left end position. (Fig. 1), a layer 2 of the arranged cigarettes is supplied from the corresponding unloading opening of the bunker sections 1 to the plates 18, 20 and 22. Then the pusher 4 moves to the right to bring the ends of the three shelves 11, 12, 13 into contact with the three ends of the cigarettes forming three layers. Shelves 11, 12, 13 enter, megabytes of discharge openings of the sections of the hopper 1 and plates 18, 20, 22 to press the three layers in the axial direction to the support, pairs of plates of translucent material and plate 46 until they enter the carriers 6 for groups of cigarettes which are at this time at rest. The conveyor 5 at this time makes an intermittent further movement in the direction of the arrow B. The pusher 4 moves to the left end position. Then the shelves 11, 12 and 13 are retracted from the corresponding discharge openings of the hopper 1, and the next three layers of cigarettes are dropped under the force of gravity to the plates 18, 20 and 22. In the case of pushing the layer out by the shelf 11 (fig. 2 and 3) of the cigarette t in the axial direction through the gap of the plates 18 and 17 and, in particular, between the holes 27 and the slot 36 synchronously with the closure of the contact 49 with the help of the cam 50 and detain the light rays directed to the photosensitive elements 37. If the layer is full, the output of the amplifier 48 is no signal and, therefore, with ignal at the output of the logic element 51 I. If one layer or more cigarettes is missing in this layer, then light rays normally fall on the photosensitive elements 37 corresponding to the missing cigarettes normally to plates 17 and 18. Thus, under these conditions of the logic element 51, as a signal coming from a branch of the circuit including contact 49, and a signal coming from the photosensitive elements 37 corresponding to the missing cigarettes. Under these conditions, the logical element 51 and outputs a signal to the storage element 52, which then transmits a signal to the output element 53, located on the path of movement of the conveyor 5.
The effect of the output element 5 on the stack containing the defective layer or layers is also delayed by the storage element 52, in addition to describing the HOFO control process, through a series of packaging machine cycles to allow the partial layer to be removed from the container. In particular, to check the completeness of a layer of cigarettes when passing layers 2. Through aperture 27, closing and immediately opening contact 49 with cam 50 is sufficient.
In the case of checking the completeness of the layers and the longitudinal dimensions of the cigarettes, the inclusive action of the cam 50 should extend over the entire period of time required for the layers to pass through the openings 27. This is achieved by simply selecting the contour dimensions of the cam 50.
The reliability of the device is due to the following reasons.
Photocells are protected by plates of transparent material that are not covered with tobacco dust in the course of work due to the continuous movement of cigarettes on them.
The tube lamp 30 emits rays through the slits, while the light beam has a constant intensity on the line through which each cigarette passes and is directed to the photosensitive elements associated with each cigarette.
The shielding effect of light sources is enhanced by covering the inner surfaces.
0 holes 27 black opaque coating (paint) and a deeper installation of the photosensitive elements 37 in their sockets, for which the elements can be
5 are mounted on the wall 42 with the possibility of adjustment.
In addition, when moving cigarettes adjacent to missing cigarettes, as well as their abnormal
D position when moving leads to the formation of other interrupting zones on the screen, to the illumination and excitation of the corresponding photosensitive element 37.
